The SCUM server software is one of the more memory-intensive applications - especially with many players, active bases, vehicles and longer runtimes. As a rule, a SCUM server requires between 6 and 27 GB of RAM, depending on the number of players, gameplay and map progress. Just like the developer, we therefore recommend planning for at least 32 GB of RAM. If the server runs out of RAM, it will crash or become unstable - the server will then have to be restarted. You can set up automated restarts in the customer area at times of your choice - e.g. early in the morning every day. This allows you to reliably reduce RAM consumption without having to intervene manually.
